Not only was this place mind-blowing to visit, but the employees were as well in the best possible way!

One employee (I wish I knew her name..she had long dark hair and was working behind the counter with Jack when we arrived for the 1:00 PM tour) noticed our children, ages 2 and 4, admiring the penny press machine. I didn’t have any change on me to use it, so this wonderful employee generously gave us enough change for both of our kids to make their own pressed pennies. That simple act of kindness meant so much to us. Everyone we encountered was incredibly welcoming and kind to our children, which was extremely refreshing.

Now, on to Jack. Jack was our tour guide for the 1:00 PM tour, and he was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable, encouraged questions, and shared fascinating information throughout the entire experience. He also volunteers with the American Cave Conservation Association and participates in surveys of this very cave, which made his passion and expertise shine through. His knowledge of every little detail about the cave was unmatched, and he delivered it all in a way that was both funny and engaging.

From the incredible natural beauty of the cave to the outstanding staff who clearly care about both the cave and their visitors, this was an unforgettable experience. We left with great memories, a deeper appreciation for the history and science of the cave, and two very happy kids. We would highly recommend a visit and can’t wait to come back someday.

The tour guide was great, and they all were so nice. The cave was awesome compared to others in the area. Take a light jacket; it's a little chilly. Dog-friendly, and we are going back for their 3-hour off-route tour.

Al our guide was INCREDIBLE! The most passionate guide who truly loves what he does, and throws in a dad joke or 2. We will be back to see how the cave has changed. There’s a lot more to it than just a cave. Highly recommend!

Kayleigh was our tour guide, we are so honored to be her first clients to be lead on a tour through the hidden River cave. She was amazing and we had lots of fun thanks to her and the other tour guide. It's our first time visiting Kentucky and we now have a new appreciation and respect towards the kind and welcoming people of this town. Thanks for making us and our dog Boba happy today. We learned so much interesting and neat facts about the caves and we were able to see a bunch of unique cave critters! The cave itself was beautiful and it felt like a place from the Indiana jones movies.

We did a 1pm tour with Liam. We hit the jackpot! This guy's vast knowledge of caves and geology mixed with his passion for teaching made for one of the best tour experiences I have ever had! I loved going accross the longest underground suspension bridge and visiting the 2nd largest underground dome in the US. This was truly a unique experience I would highly recommend!

Me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed this Cape tour. Our tour guide - Liam was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. I truly appreciate all the efforts that went into saving this beautiful cave from all of years of pollution! They’ve done outstanding work to save it..the history behind it is remarkable.

Our guide (who's name is escaping me 😬) was awesome. Very knowledgeable and we had a great time on the Off Trail Tour. If you're not familiar (or fail to read fine print like me) I definitely recommend muck boots or something similar WITH good traction for ease of dumping water out of your boots **see photos** and for the few spots you have to climb/step up, but I wasn't even upset I soaked my hiking boots. 10/10 recommend this experience.

Had a great time at Hidden River Cave! Our guide, Jack, was super knowledgeable and made the whole tour easy to follow. Both the geology and the history of the cave are actually fascinating, and Jack did a solid job explaining how it all fits together. Definitely would visit if you are interested in cave history and geology!

This was an amazing cave tour! It was a relaxed, smaller group of people, and a lot more fun. Parker was very informative and his cave puns were pretty "rocky". Haha 😄 Seriously, it was a great experience filled with history, fun, exploration, and connection to the cave and Earth. I would highly recommend this adventure. 10/10
