We had a great experience here. Our tour guide, Abigail was very informative, and answered all of our questions. We did not feel rushed, and were able to take it all in without a large crowd of people. Sunset Dome was awesome, and the swinging bridge was very cool! Highly recommend.

Jack was very knowledgeable about all things caves. The suspension bridge was cool. The third dome’s size was completely unfathomable. Super cool experience overall.

Very well run museum and shop and the cave tour was outstanding. Plan a little time to go through the museum and read about the history of the cave. It's fascinating. Abagail was a fantastic guide and we could tell how much she cares about the history and the future of the cave.

"My light is the first that has ever shined on this room" - Al, our passionate tour guide, related the story of his fellow Cave Research Foundation explorer friend changed his view of caving forever. Along the journey through the magnificent 3 domes, including the astonishing final Sunset Dome (2nd largest dome in the US outside Carlsbad Caverns!), Al invited us in to the life of a cave explorer and maintainer. This tour is absolutely worth it. The decades of work by the ACA to restore this underground world, and the ongoing efforts of maintenance after the frequent floods, leave you with a deep appreciation for the chance to experience the beauty of this magical world. Being that we were on a road trip with no schedule, we really appreciated the opportunity to drop in for a cave tour. Our guide, Al, has to be the best tour guide ever! This man cares so deeply and greatly about the caves. His passion showed throughout the tour in his words and actions. The caves were beautiful, and having the best tour guide made it more than worth it!

We came in and they quickly got us into a group that just went to start the tour so we didn’t have to wait at all. Cole was our guide and he was awesome! The ladies at the front were fabulous too. This tour was fantastic. Would definitely recommend.

Donations and membership dues help support our educational programs and operations at the American Cave Museum and also allow us to sponsor conservation efforts that directly protect and preserve caves and groundwater resources nationally.
