Hidden River Cave

Welcome to Kentucky's Hidden River Cave & American Cave Museum. Located at 119 E Main St in historic downtown, Horse Cave, Kentucky.

Our historic cave tour will take you through one of Kentucky's largest & most scenic historic cave entrances where two subterranean rivers flow over one-hundred feet below ground. Walk across the world's longest underground swinging bridge and experience sites not seen since 1943.

You'll pass the remnants of a turn-of-the-century hydroelectric generating system that once supplied the town overhead with water & electricity and explore areas with seldom seen creatures that live in the darkness underground .

Public Guided Cave Tour

Historic tours and are scheduled upon arrival, no reservation required.
Group Rates are available.

Cave Adventure Tours

Guided off-trail adventure tours last 3 to 4 hours. Reservations are required at least 48-hours in advance for off-trail tours.

Zip & Rappel Challenge

Fly through the trees on the area's highest zipline, or take a vertical rappel into the mouth of Hidden River Cave.
